Village Facilities
The Village of Pugwash owns and maintains tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. Some equipment is available upon request at the Village Hall.
Partnership with YMCA – Summer 2026
The Village is partnering with the YMCA in Amherst to offer summer 2026 programs, including swimming lessons, day camps, and more.
School Sports at PDHS
Pugwash District High School (PDHS) boasts successful sports teams that compete at provincial and regional levels.
- Popular: Soccer and Basketball (Junior and Senior teams, boys and girls)
- Also offered: Curling, Volleyball, Skiing, Softball, Track and Field, Golf
Go Panthers!!
North Cumberland Community Curling Club (NCCC)
The NCCC operates in winter and also offers shuffleboard and other off-season activities.
Sport Pugwash Facility
Located just outside Village limits on Miller Road, Sport Pugwash offers weekly baseball games and disc golf throughout the summer.
Sunset Boulevard Courts
Opened in 2023, these new courts on Sunset Boulevard (off Crowley Road) provide expanded access to tennis and pickleball.
