Pugwash Communities in Bloom Plant Sale

Pugwash Communities in Bloom will hold its annual Plant Sale on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Pugwash Farmers’ Market.
The sale is a seasonal opportunity to pick up plants for gardens, planters, yards, and community spaces while supporting local beautification efforts in Pugwash. Proceeds help Pugwash Communities in Bloom continue its work enhancing public spaces and encouraging pride in the village throughout the growing season.
Community members are invited to stop by, browse the selection, and support a volunteer-led initiative that helps keep Pugwash welcoming, colourful, and well cared for.

TEDxPugwash 2026 will bring together local voices, student speakers, and community leaders for an afternoon of TED-style talks focused on ideas, experience, and conversation. The event takes place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Pugwash District High School, with a reception to follow.
This locally organized TEDx event is designed to spark reflection and connection by sharing stories, insights, and perspectives from people connected to Pugwash and the surrounding community. Attendees can expect a thoughtful program featuring both youth and adult speakers exploring topics such as community, creativity, education, mental health, resilience, and social change.

Pugwash Farmers’ Market Opens for the 2026 Season, starting May 16
The Pugwash Farmers’ Market returns for the 2026 season on Saturday, May 16, and will run every Saturday until October 10. The market is open from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm at 10222 Durham Street in Pugwash.
A regular part of the community’s spring, summer, and early fall schedule, the Pugwash Farmers’ Market offers residents and visitors a place to shop locally, meet vendors, and enjoy the village atmosphere. Each market day brings together a variety of local products, including fresh food, baked goods, handmade items, seasonal produce, crafts, preserves, and other offerings from vendors in the area.
